Common CB Radio Channels (EU / Switzerland – 27 MHz)
In Switzerland and most of Europe, CB radio uses 40 FM channels (26.965–27.405 MHz). AM/SSB may be allowed in some countries, but FM is the standard and safest choice in CH.

Channel 19 – The classic calling & road channel

- ⚠️ Use only for real emergencies
- Often monitored, even if quiet
Channel 14 – Casual local chat
- 💬 Short-range conversations
- Used by hobbyists, campers, local groups
- Less noisy than Ch 19
Channel 24 / 25 – Free chat channels
- 🗣️ Common fallback when 19 is busy
- Often used for longer conversations
Channel 3 / 4

- Sometimes used by farmers or construction
